We conduct participatory and action-oriented research on human rights. We use our research findings as a base for our education, empowerment, and advocacy activities, and to share knowledge and insights.
Educate
We create innovative participatory tools, creative training materials, and curricula to strengthen people’s knowledge, skills and attitudes.
Empower
We inspire, mobilize people, and boost their abilities to defend and advocate for their rights. We ensure that our empowering spaces are safe, supportive, gender sensitive, enjoyable and happy.
Advocate
We advocate for the implementation and reform of policies and legislations that protect and promote human rights.

Panel Principles
At the core of HRBA are the panel principles, which stand for participation, accountability, non-discrimination, empowerment, and legality (adherence to the rule of law). these principles guide our work and ensure that human rights are integrated into all levels of our programming and advocacy.
Right Holder
We recognize every individual as a holder of rights, as proclaimed by the universal declaration of human rights.
Duty Bearer
We identify states and authorities as duty bearers with the obligation to respect, protect, and fulfill human rights. they must also prevent and address human rights abuses.
Leaving No one Behind
In line with our commitment to inclusivity, we prioritize support for the most marginalized and vulnerable populations, ensuring that those who face the greatest challenges in realizing their rights receive our focused attention
