LOUDER is thrilled to have collaborated with Article 19’s MENA Regional Office in a comprehensive regional consultation focused on the legal framework and key challenges of Freedom of Association in Lebanon and the broader MENA region. This pivotal event, held in Tunisia in December 2019, marked a significant step in understanding and addressing the current status of the Right to Freedom and Civic Space within the MENA region. The consultation brought together a diverse group of participants deeply invested in freedom of association issues. This included lawyers, researchers, human rights defenders, and representatives from various civil society organizations. The targeted countries for this consultation were Tunisia, Lebanon, Morocco, Algeria, and Egypt.
