In a significant achievement for LOUDER, its innovative project ‘Min Haqqiha’ was declared a winner in the  iValues competition in 2021, organized by the Friedrich Naumann Foundation MENA. The competition, aimed at encouraging entrepreneurs in the MENA region to generate meaningful impacts in various sectors, witnessed participation from 260 projects across 11 countries.

This honor highlights the app’s significant contribution to gender equality and human rights. ‘Min Haqqiha’, meaning “It’s Her Right,” is a pioneering tool in the fight against Gender-Based Violence and the promotion of women’s rights and political participation in Lebanon. Developed as a free, accessible, interactive, and user-friendly platform, ‘Min Haqqiha’ uses technology to further the global goal of gender equality (SDG Goal 5). This accolade celebrates LOUDER’s dedication to creating an equal future, especially in the challenging context of the COVID-19 world, and solidifies the app’s role as a crucial educational resource in Lebanon’s journey towards gender equity… Dr. Khouloud AlKhatib, the Executive Director of LOUDER, received the award, underscoring the app’s exceptional role in promoting and advancing human rights and gender equality. This recognition is not just an honoring for LOUDER’s pioneering efforts but also a resounding affirmation of the power and necessity of such initiatives in shaping a more equitable and just MENA region.
